
• Moobek (aka DJ Y.U.P.) is an award-winning South Korean HIP HOP, EDM producer and international touring DJ. He is currently
located in the United States. Moobek’s combined 25 years of experience playing hip-hop, EDM, and top-40 mainstream, makes
Moobek a true open format DJ Moobek has appeared alongside some of the biggest names in EDM and hip-hop including Tiesto, Alison Wonderland,
Martin Hoger, REZZ, T-Pain, Nate Dogg, Soulja Boy, A-TRAK, PartyFavor, Bassjackers, Nicky Romero, Coone, D- Block & Stefan, Da Tweekaz, Sikdope, Gammer and Vinai. Hailing from the underground club scene in South Korea, Moobek started his career showcasing his art at some of Korea’s original nightclubs.
His talent landed him residencies at two of Seoul’s most prestigious clubs, and ultimately, this led Moobek to perform at many of South Korea’s major global festivals including Ultra Music Festival, World DJ Festival, the Yeosu Expo, Pentaport Rock Festival with B.o.B, and Samsung’s Summer Wave Festival with Will.I .Am, Ludacris, and Taio Cruz. Moobek’s international bookings include global festivals and high-pro- file nightclubs in South Korea, Canada, Vietnam, Japan, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Macau, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia. After spending many years touring Asia, Moobek permanently relocated from South Korea to the United States in 2015 to further his career. Since relocating to America, Moobek has found success DJing in major cities including Las Vegas Los Angeles, Seattle , Hawaii, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, San Francisco and parts of Canada.
• Moobek has solidified his name as one of the most versatile and electrifying DJs in the game. He first made waves in Las Vegas, opening for RL Grime at the iconic XS Nightclub and performing alongside Flux Pavilion and Destructo at the Safe in Sound Festival at Brooklyn Bowl. In 2019, he rocked the stage at the Paradiso Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington, further cementing his festival presence.
He holds multiple residencies at top nightclubs in Seattle, including Super Nova and Lucky Strike, and has performed at major events such as the Insomniac BOO! Halloween Festival (Seattle, 2022) and the MLB Mariners Home Game at T-Mobile Park (2022).
In 2022, Moobek returned to South Korea post-pandemic to perform at the Vector Festival in Daegu. Since January 2023, he has been on tour across major U.S. cities with Soulja Boy, with the tour wrapping up in September in Los Angeles. Following that, he’s slated to return to his homeland once again for the Vector Festival in Seoul in October 2023.
• In 2024, he founded his own company, KCORE PRODUCTION, and brought renowned Korean IDOL's singers to the U.S. for concerts
and tours. As both CEO and artist, he actively organizes and performs alongside top Korean IDOL's on annual tours.
